Oralade's Journey to Rehydrate the Market.

The Problem

There are times when your dog needs professional nutritional support and rehydration via isotonic drink. Macahl Animal Health determined that their potential clients are not aware of their liquid formula product. Oralade is the first isotonic drink that provides palatable, ready-to-serve oral rehydration for dogs and cats.

The Solution

We crafted a mesmerizing 3D product animation, emphasizing Oralade's innovative form, and utilized liquid simulation to embody the company's core values.

The outcome? A highly compelling promotional video that not only increased Oralade's sales significantly but also catapulted the brand to global recognition as the best in their field.

DEFINING THE GOAL

Together, we sat down and started defining
what’s important for the client.

The animation aims to illustrate Oralade's fluid integration with water, contrasting it with powder-based alternatives using a split-screen concept. It will be featured on the client's website, presentations, digital campaigns, and trade expos, targeting pet owners seeking expert nutritional support and rehydration for their companions.

VISUAL DEVELOPMENT

Here, at MPMTeam we believe in Design Thinking, so after thorough research we created a persona to further understand our target audience. Please, meet Sarah.

Then, we composed a mood board consisting of liquid simulation references and began brainstorming.

First Storyboard

We proposed a cozy kitchen setting for the video, allowing customers to envision using Oralade at home. To highlight its nutritional and palatable qualities, we adorned the scene with appetizing food and warm hues in post-production.

First Video Draft

The biggest challenge for us was to showcase the liquid blending seamlessly with water in a captivating way. We used a split-screen format, contrasting Oralade with a powder product, and crafted a glass dog bowl to demonstrate its mixing behavior. To ensure the best result, we decided to go an extra mile and hired an expert from an award-winning agency to create the liquid simulation, Oleksandr Lutai.

TESTING

After completing the video, we encountered an unexpected challenge during a meeting with the client's marketing team: the target audience shifted from pet owners to veterinary professionals.

The entire video strategy needed to be transformed.

We transitioned from a warm, domestic setting to a clinical environment, focusing on the product's chemical composition and properties. Despite the unexpected shift, we viewed it as an opportunity for creative adaptation.

The new version was completed and accepted. We managed to create a vastly new animation without taking too much time and wasting resources. We recontextualized existing assets and presented them in a new light, hitting the current target audience.

The finished animation found its home on the client's website and various social media platforms. They were visibly proud of the new Oralade animation and gladly shared our work.

Since the release of the animation, Oralade sales have significantly increased and the brand gained world-wide recognition as the best in their field.
