HELPING A LOGISTICS PARK TO BLOSSOM

Creating a 3D animated visualization for CTPark Warsaw West

The Problem

Attracting investors, business owners, and stakeholders to a developing business park requires a compelling visualization that showcases its potential. The challenge is to present the park’s growth, infrastructure, and sustainability in a way that sparks interest and helps decision-makers see it as a prime opportunity, without over-promising on uncertain features.

The Solution

A 3D animation was created to highlight the park’s development, key infrastructure, and sustainability initiatives. The animation portrayed the park’s growth from the ground up, aligning with the client’s goals. The storyline and visuals were refined to provide a clear, engaging presentation, with adjustments made based on client feedback.

Defining the Goal & Ideation

Understanding the client’s vision: The project required a high-quality 3D animation showcasing CTPark Warsaw West’s development, infrastructure, and sustainability efforts in a way that was both visually engaging and informative. To ensure alignment from the start, extensive discussions were held to clarify key messaging and expectations.

Getting familiar with brand visual identity: The animation needed to seamlessly integrate with CTP’s branding, leveraging their existing marketing materials, maps, and architectural plans to maintain a cohesive look and feel throughout the project.

Early alignment for minimal revisions: Since nailing the tone and message early on was crucial to minimizing changes later, the pre-production phase placed a heavy focus on clear communication, structured approvals, and an iterative approach to concept development.

Pre-Production

Managing received materials: The project relied on architectural designs, reference photos, and technical layouts, which required conversion, optimization, and close coordination with the client to ensure all necessary elements were included.

Script development: A structured narrative was created to highlight the park’s strategic location, infrastructure, and industry applications, with careful attention to messaging that would resonate with potential investors and tenants while maintaining flexibility for elements like the Clubhaus, which was not yet finalized.

VO recording & refinement: The script was refined based on client feedback, ensuring a clear, engaging delivery while also addressing potential challenges, such as the correct pronunciation of Polish locations.

Storyboarding: A detailed visual plan mapped out key shots and transitions, aligning 2D and 3D elements while considering the flow of the animation to maintain an engaging and seamless experience.

Music selection & direction: Various music styles and energy levels were explored, each presenting a different direction for the animation’s tone. The final selection balanced corporate elegance with a dynamic, cinematic quality, complementing the pacing and visuals.

Visual Development

3D Architectural Modeling: A highly detailed 3D model of both the interior and exterior of the park was created, ensuring it functioned both in wide establishing shots and close-ups. The model needed to be accurate to real-world blueprints while also being optimized for animation, making it a technically demanding process that required careful balancing of precision and efficiency.

2D Vector Illustration & Motion Design: A series of complex, animation-ready vector graphics were developed, including maps, diagrams, and brand-aligned motion elements. These visuals had to remain clean, scalable, and visually engaging, ensuring they seamlessly integrated with 3D elements while maintaining brand consistency.

3D Animation: The logistics park was brought to life using advanced animation techniques to depict its growth from the ground up. This step required procedural modeling, environmental simulations, and precise timing to create a realistic and visually striking transformation.

Editing & Compositing: The final animation was assembled, seamlessly integrating custom visuals, stock footage, received materials, music, SFX, and VO. The challenge here was ensuring a natural blend of 2D and 3D visuals, requiring precise timing, layering, and visual consistency.

Video post-production & audio mixing: Color grading, final visual polish, and sound mixing were applied to ensure a high-end, professional final product that matched the client’s brand quality standards.

The biggest challenge during this phase was ensuring that 2D and 3D teams worked in sync, despite working on separate elements simultaneously. Since client feedback was ongoing, maintaining a smooth and cohesive final animation while integrating last-minute changes required a highly adaptable workflow.

Final Delivery

Tailored output for different platforms: Multiple versions of the final animation were created, including a social media cut and a version with subtitles, ensuring maximum adaptability for different presentation formats and audience needs.

Final revisions & communication: Last-minute adjustments were incorporated, requiring tight coordination with the client to ensure all refinements were implemented efficiently without disrupting the final timeline.

Outcome

The final animation delivered a polished and engaging presentation of CTPark Warsaw West, effectively showcasing its growth, infrastructure, and sustainability. A seamless blend of 3D visualization, 2D motion graphics, and cinematic storytelling made the video both informative and visually compelling.

By maintaining a flexible workflow, the team efficiently incorporated client feedback and last-minute refinements, ensuring a high-end final product tailored for multiple platforms and presentation formats.
